WHAT TO DO IF DRIVING LICENSE IS LOST SAUDI

Lost your Driving License in Saudi?

Your driving license is very important you can read more regarding general rules here Driving In KSA. If you end up loosing your driving license, in this case you will have to visit Dallah driving school office or your local driving center (for smaller cities) to get another one reissued. This will take around two hours and will cost you around SR 130 in total if you are lucky! The procedure in the evet you loose your driving license is quiet simple. Please note, if you loose your license don't drive a car until you get it reissued. Driving without a license can land you a hefty fine from the authorities and might even land you a night in jail.

Process to get the Driving License Reissued if Lost

  • You will need a valid iqama (original) and copy of your lost license
  • Go to Dallah Driving School Office or Local driving school. They will hand you a form to fill.
  • Submit the filled form with passport sized photograph, copy of iqama and lost license for a stamp.
  • Once your form is stamped and signed, you will take it to the computer room for it to be entered into the database. You will pay SR 100 while the system would be updated with your lost complaint number.
  • After this you will have to pay another SR30 as a penalty for them to sign your form .This can be paid from your Debit card or online. The man sitting on the desk can also do it for you if you don’t have these facilities.
  • Once done submit the signed form back to person you initially got it from to get your driving license
Note: If your driving license is damaged attach the damaged license with your form for reissuance. You can take this directly to the office and get your re-print.
