Today I want to share with you the top three things that you may not be aware that physios can help solve!
1. Headaches
Yes, it’s true, we can help with your chronic headaches, even if they have been bugging you for years. Of course there are some headaches that physio will not improve, however the majority of chronic headaches are infact tension headaches, which is just the thing that appropriate physiotherapy can help fix. If you want to read more about how physio can help your headache, then read this previous post.
2. Knee arthritis
Many people are told that there is nothing that can be done about their painful and arthritic knees, apart from waiting until the point where they desperately need a replacement. However, what many people don’t get told, is that if you are given the tools to keep your knees strong and functioning then it holds off the need for a replacement for much longer AND you get much better quality of life while doing it. 3. Chronic back pain
For many people, their back pain is severe and chronic, meaning it has been hanging around for a very long time. In most cases, there is something we can do to help. Although we don’t promise to magically make your pain disappear, we can help you decrease the amount of pain and discomfort and even work towards getting back into things that may have once been thought lost. This is normally done through a combination of hands on physiotherapy and carefully prescribed exercises to get you moving better and get you stronger in the right areas. So there you have it, three very common things that many people didn’t realise we could help with.
