Important documents to get driving license in Saudi Arabia:
- Iqama copy
- Passport size photographs
- Copy of passport
- Blood test report
- Driving license, if you have one from native country, translated into Arabic
Pro Tip: If you have a driving license from your home country, you will be able to skip the week long classes. In this case you will only have to take one class.

These charges are to be from ATM, phone banking or online banking before you go to get the license.
Before going for driving license
- Take a printout of the fee you have deposited
- Make sure that you know little Arabic because the man who would take your trial would be Arabic not knowing much English.
Procedure for getting a new driving license
- Go to Dallah office or your local driving school with all the documents.
- Pay an agent there some SR15 to create your file.
- After this you will be taken for an eye test. Your file will be stamped after you have taken the test.
- You are now ready for your first trial of driving. The man there will test you for basic maneuvering of the vehicle and your traffic sense. If successful you will be given grade A allowing you for final test.
- If passed, you will have to pay SR100 for Computer class test. It will be a three hour class where you will be taught basics of driving in Saudi Arabia. Be very attentive during the class because after this you will have to take a computer test based on what you were taught.
- On clearing that you will come back to Dallah Driving School for your final trial. On passing it you will get your license in a few minutes. If you fail this final trial you will be given a new date for when you can come back with your file for a retest.
