18 MONTH PRISON, SAR 5000 FINE FOR FAKE DEGREE SAUDI ARABIA

Fake degree Saudi Arabia- a fake degree holder was given a 18 month sentences along with SAR 5,000 fine and deportation from Saudi Arabia after completion and payment. The Court of Grievances in the Jeddah found a n Arab expatriate guilty for forging a Ph.D degree in internal medicine. The culprit was caught while trying to get the degree attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All professional degrees have to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be considered in the Saudi Kingdom.
2,000 SAR for forged degree!
According to a local news daily the expat was able to work in a private dispensary in Jeddah for seven months. It want until his employer asked for an attested degree from MoFA that he decided to give it a shot. Having payed 2,000 SAR to a forger in his home country he thought he would be able to get it attested. However, the MoFA were unable to verify the degree and handed him over to the police for questioning.
Under no circumstances should you get a life experiences degree or buy a degree.
The expat confessed to having the degree forged. He had only studied one year in medical school and had to drop out for personal reasons. When he came to the Kingdom the jobs he found came with low wadges so he decided to forge a degree in internal medicine and work at a pharmacy. Fake degrees in Saudi Arabia are not taken lightly.
